This was our third
year at MPH Show and by far the busiest for us, with a record 42 cars to
clean, prepare and |
| |
|
|
maintain.
Our operatives were kept very busy with a number of new car launches,
high profile car displays |
| |
|
|
and some
sensational variations on standard models. We provided the
services for a very wide range of car |
| |
|
|
manufacturers from
Volvo, Mitsubishi and Radical, to Lamborghini and Bentley. We prepared
and maintained |
| |
|
|
a Porsche GT and a
Ford GT40, all of which benefited greatly from our care and attention. |
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|

|

| |

|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
Saleen made their
UK debut of their new super car, the S7. Built to rival the
newly launched Bugatti Veyron, it |

is a real super car
in every sense of the word and of course there is only one company that
can do such a car |

| |

| |
|

| |

| |
|

| |
|

| |
|
|
full justice. We gave the car and its sister, the Saleen
Mustang a full clean,
cleanse, claying and finally of |
| |
|
|
course a number of
hand applied coats of carnauba wax. No area was left untouched,
with even the wheels |
| |
|
|
getting a thorough
clean, refresh and protect. The colour changed from a
dark dull red to a vibrant, deep |
| |
|
|
coated smooth and
bright red. This proved one of the star cars of the MPH
show, with its positioning being so |
| |
|
|
close to the front
of the hall, the impact was immediate and dramatic. We had a range of
exotica to prepare |
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
including a rather
nice Ford GT40 and a superb metallic BMW M6. Both required their
paintwork to be repaired |
| |
|
|
with the BMW M6
having particularly marked paintwork which was brought back to its
former glory with great |
| |
|
|
results. We were also asked by Lamborghini to prepare
the, at the time, only Gallardo Spyder in the UK. This |
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
was a difficult
task, as the car and its sister coupe had been used as the only UK
demonstrators of their type. |

|
|
It meant that
despite their exclusive market audience, the marks on both the paintwork
and the interior were |
| |
|
|
very ingrained and
deep. However, with a few techniques and some strong
perseverance, we overcame. |
