MPH Show - 2008 |

2008 was a low key
for us this year at the MPH Show
at the Earl's Court and the NEC venues. For
operational |
| |
|
|
reasons we scaled
down our attendance at the show. With the initial panic that
ensued due to the collapse |
| |
|
|
of a number of
banks and the crisis that followed, MPH, like other shows
and exhibitions became less crucial |
| |
|
|
as far as
exhibitors were concerned. We did however still work with a
number of manufacturers and helped |
| |
|
|
to make, what was a
visibly subdued show as good as it could be. |
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
We were asked to
make a couple of Hummers ready for a public showing. This
included the engines, as well |
| |
|
|
as the usual areas
of the bodywork and the interiors. With a huge amount of
chrome and paintwork, it was |
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
a task that was
going to take time and much skill. The results meant
that the vehicles really stood out, not |
| |
|
|
just because of
their size, but also because of the smart way they looked. Black looks
great when it has been |
| |
|
|
really well
prepared and waxed. Engine cleaning was a
theme of this years cars, with a number of clients |
| |
|
|
asking for them to
be 'spruced up'. We of course obliged! From
Aston Martin DB9's, Shelby Mustangs to the |
| |
|
|
ultimate Bentley,
the Flying Spur, they all benefited from some tender loving care,

our expert and well
trained staff are able, with a combination of passion and skill, to
produce startling results |

and ensure that the
manufacturers products are shown in the best possible light.
Our staff were on hand |

keeping the stands clean and rubbish free and cleaning and preserving
the stand information boards. We |
| |
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
| |
|

| |
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
operated throughout
the show, from the start of the show in the mornings and we continued
through to the |
| |
|
|
end of the show,
late into the evening. With our new, specific exhibition
uniform, comprising of a formal |
| |
|
|
black short sleeve
short, formal black trousers and black shoes, we made sure that our
staff were discreeet. |
