Autoglym
Lifeshine - Application Process |
| |
| |
Step One -
| |
We thoroughly clean
the exterior of the car. So, we start with the exterior and begin
by |
| |
rinsing the bodywork, wheels
and arches down, ready to apply the preparation
products. |
| |
| |
| |
| |
Step Two -
| |
The lower areas of
the car are pre-sprayed with Autoglym's preparation product, as are |
| |
the arches. The
wheels are sprayed and agitated. The bodywork is then soaped down |
| |
using Autoglym's wash wax solution.
We also lather the wheels. |
| |
| |
| |
Step Three -
| |
The entire car is
now pressure washed down, including the
arches and the wheels. Once |
| |
rinsed down the car
is then leathered dry. This also includes the shuts,
jams and wheels. |
| |
| |
| |
| |
Step Four -
| |
Once fully dried,
we then apply the first coating of wax.
We exclusively use Autoglym's |
| |
new premium High
Definition wax, which is explained
here All exposed painted
areas |
| |
& wheels are waxed and then coated with
the protectant. It cures for 2 hours |
| |
| |
| |
Step Five -
| |
Whilst the wax is
drying into the paintworkwe apply the Glass
guard to all the glass. This |
| |
covers the windows, front
and rear screens, wing mirrors and the interior windows and |
| |
glass. We even clean and then do the mirrors
and glass inside the car. |
| |
| |
| |
Step Six -
| |
We now move onto
the interior and brush and hoover the
entire inside, including the |
| |
carpets, boot and seats.
All crevices are dusted and then where, necessary the interior |
| |
is shampooed using Autoglym's interior
cleaner. We include the plastics. |
| |
| |
| |
Step Seven -
| |
Once the soft
furnishings have been fully prepared, we
then apply the Lifeshine interior |
| |
protector.
This is sprayed onto all the fabrics, which includes the headlining and
plastics |
| |
if fitted, leather). |
| |
| |
| |
Step Eight -
| |
We now add the Autglym screenwash booster to the
windscreen washer fluid. This is |
| |
designed to work
with the window washer to help remove bugs, dirt and grime from |
| |
the window and also to help
prevent the fluid freezing in the winter. |
| |
| |
| |
Step Nine -
| |
Nearing completion,
we dress the tyres and trim on the
outside and then remove the |
| |
coating from the bodywork,
shuts and wheels. Once fully removed we rebuff the |
| |
paintwork and check over the car to ensure
complete quality control. |
| |
| |
| |
Step Ten -
| |
The Final Step - We
now place our floor mats in the car and
the free complimentary |
| |
Autoglym kit in the car.
This kit is essential to maintain the car after we have finished |
| |
and we will explain the items in the kit and
their purpose. We're all done. |
